Produced by Jacob Bittens and directed by award-winning director Alan Brown, the film chronicles the reunion of four former friends and lovers one boiling hot summer after 8 years apart. The film stars Annie Parisse, McKinley Belcher III, A.J. Shively, and Jasai Chase-Owens.
Alan Brown has written and directed five award-winning films that have appeared at prestigious festivals, museums, and international venues from Turin to Taipei. His most recent, Five Dances, was the Opening Night Film at both Lincoln Center’s “Dance on Camera Festival” and “London Fringe,” and won numerous prizes. His film Book of Love was nominated for a Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, and O Beautiful won the Future Filmmaker Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. Alan is also the author of the novel, “Audrey Hepburn’s Neck,” winner of the Pacific Rim Book Prize. He was a Fulbright Fellow to Japan, and has been awarded grants from the NEA and NYSCA.
